It's the month of June, and that means we're half way through the year already! God I didn't notice it, the year's ending fast. Next thing you know, it's December and you need the cash flowing. Well, That's the truth for me.

Did I mention I have plenty of friends and relatives and godchildren, and the growing number of nephews and nieces on the side.

So for me, it's better to start earning and saving extra for the rainy days (December=Rainy days) as early as June. And how do I make money online? I monetize this blog. Ya know, a little paid review won't hurt.

In Taking Up a 2nd Course

When I was attending college, 4 yrs ago (lol), okay, 8 years ago, I am interested to take up Nursing and/or Dentistry. It’s both a Science-related course if you may notice. But my parents oppose as they might not just support me financially. That’s why I finished AB English instead.

So if I have a chance to take a second course, it will be BS in Nursing. Or any other medial-related course that will lead me to hospital work. I might just be an ultrasound technician or a nurse. So my advice to those who will take up college: be sure to take up a course that you really wanted. If you want to be a Nurse, go ahead and study in ‘Nursing-focused’ school, if you want to be an ultrasound technician, go study in ultrasound schools and sonogram in sonography schools.

Really now, medicine-related jobs usually get higher salaries.

Mom's Day

Mother’s day is on May 11, that’s tomorrow. And as a mom myself, I would like every mom in world to enjoy this special privilege day given to all mothers. If you wanna know what my heart desires this Mother’s Day, I say I wish for a diamond.

Ok, forget it! That’s just a silly wish. I know I will not have it. But the hubby is asking what I want as a gift, I say I don’t want any. Wise hubby. He knows what I’m gonna answer. Well yes, I don’t want anything as a gift. It is because it’s impractical to buy an expensive gift for mother’s day just to please me. God knows how hard we are working and saving to be able to afford our dream house. And that’s what I want, did I say something expensive? Lol. But that’s my true wish, for all occasions that is. I want to have our own house in a peaceful village wherein there is no flood, no loud neighbors, and far from Mayon.


So much for my wish, I would like to share a great poem dedicated for all the Mothers out there.

My Worthwhile Travel Wish

I want to do something interesting this summer, something that will somehow enrich and enlighten my ‘idle’ and sinful soul. And I have confirmed this desire after hearing the mass last Sunday in St. Jude Cathedral. The priest, Father Ham, invited anyone who wants to join in the so-called Christian Cruise. I am not sure if I can afford such Christian Cruises, but I am sure that I want and I need this kind of Christian Cruises. Father Ham said if anyone is interested, he can look for some good-hearted sponsors.

So there I searched for Christian Cruises in the internet and found the Living Passages. It is a site that works with non-profit organizations to offer travel with the purpose of a little adventure and missions services to the Lord’s people all around the globe. Anyone who wishes to join one of its Christian Cruises has the chance to experience genuine seafaring voyage on a luxury five-star yacht that can accommodate up to 170 cruisers. While on board, there will be bible teachings from famous and top Bible teachers and explorers.

Its recent Christian Mediterranean cruise will be on July this year. It is called the “Footsteps of Paul Christian Cruise” that will have Mr. Bob Cornuke, the Bible Explorer along with other Great Bible Teachers.

If God allows me to experience such Christian Cruise, I will be able to visit places such as the Bible ports of Athens, Patmos, Ephesus and Pergamum. The trip will start on July 18 and will end on the 26th of the same month.

Haircuts

Your hair and face change as you get older. And so should your cut. Finding the right cut and color can give a huge boost to your overall appearance. Well, at least we think so ... what do you think?
